BP141 Agile Project Management

Course Description

Organizations are increasingly adopting Agile methods to help their software-development projects deal with expanding uncertainty and complexity. As such, experienced project managers find themselves wondering about "Agile" versus "agile", speculating about their new roles and responsiblities, and questioning the effectiveness of this approach. A shift to Agile project management means learning how Agile projects are different from traditional projects, learning to apply familiar project management skills in new ways, and learning how to capture the benefits and real-world results that Agile methods can deliver. This two-day class takes a deep dive into practicing the knowledge, skills, and techniques needed to transition to Agile project management.
