MP403 Interaction Design




Course Description

This course covers basic concepts and issues pertaining to the design of interfaces for digital products, applicable to a range of contexts: Web, mobile, desktop, and beyond. The ultimate objective in the design of a product is to fulfill the goals and expectations of users. The seamless integration of its physical and virtual properties is one step toward achieving this objective. Being a studio course, interaction-design topics are taught via hands-on individual and group projects interspersed with case studies and core principles relevant to that stage in the term or project. It is assumed that you are familiar with Web-design process and techniques, as these are referred to on a regular basis.
