Course Description

This course is the first of three organizational development courses that gives students a framework of the field of organizational development and focuses specifically on the individual as change agent, individual perceptions, recognition of human responses, and an awareness of the individual?s impact upon others within organizations. Students explore and practice effective communication, and investigate skills and competencies needed to succeed in the field. *Develop new skills and techniques for proactively managing the culture within your organization *Learn a variety of individual-focused strategies for practical application in your organization *Leadership and change *Techniques to use when having challenges with individuals *Basic consulting skills *Individual assessment tools
