MP410 Introduction to Web Technology




Course Description

This course provides a survey of technologies that drive today's Web, introduces fundamental concepts in programming, and discusses how different technologies are used to build dynamic websites.  The course also provides hands-on experience with basic programming.  Students learn how to complete common Web-development tasks using JavaScript for basic and advanced interactive effects, and server-side programming for delivering email, adding, editing, and deleting data from a database, and generating dynamic website content.

Head First Word Press: A brain-friendly guide to creating your own custom WordPress Blog is recommended for this course. It is available on Amazon, or at the retailer of your choice.
